Pet Urine and Odor Treatment For Carpeting and Upholstery
Pet Urine and Odor Treatment
Love the sinner. Hate the sin.
Let’s face it. If you have a pet you know that even the most well-trained is going to have an accident. That’s why we call them accidents. Have you ever walked into your home and noticed that slight aroma of a zoo? Have you ever noticed how it’s more noticeable when the humidity levels go up?
We can make sure that odor goes away, and stays away – as well as treat the stain left behind as a result of our pet’s little accident(s). At Tru-Clean Surface Care, we use a patented blend of commercial-grade enzymes coupled with a multi-step extraction process designed to destroy urine and bacteria at its source while safely flushing away contaminants from your carpeting and padding. Our thoroughly exhaustive pet urine and odor elimination process have kept many a pet out of the dog house.
There are a number of urine odor products available today at your local pet store. Unfortunately, most are composed of surfactants (detergents) and masking agents. A few also employ ineffective amounts of enzymes and some use alcohol as a solvent. Still, others are chemicals, whose molecules encapsulate, or coat, urine molecules to “seal in” the odor. The shortcomings of these approaches are that the odor is usually addressed only temporarily, and the stain most times not at all. None will have success with old, dried urine deposits.
Pet Urine Removal, What Cape Coral and Fort Myers Residents Must Know About Cleaning Pet Urine
Pets are often territorial and mark areas around the home to do their business. Because space is so limited in your home, oftentimes, you are unaware that your pet has been continuously urinating on the same spot. The urine deposits on the carpet will penetrate the fibers, contaminating both the backing of the carpet and the padding underneath. As the urine dries, the liquid evaporates leaving behind urine crystals that over time become more concentrated and pungent. A general carpet cleaning will not be enough to remove the odor and destroy the bacteria. If you can smell the pungent off-gassing of the urine, you know it’s time to call Tru-Clean Surface Care.
Our Pet Urine and Odor Elimination Process:
- Identify the source of the problem by using Xenon lighting
- Saturate the carpeting and padding with a mixture of live enzymes
- Allow live enzymes sufficient time to consume bacteria and urine salts and then extract deep-set contaminates from padding and carpeting
- Saturate carpeting a second time with spotting agents to remove urine stains
- Extract spotting agents from carpeting and padding
- Clean carpeting as usual – Poof! No more odor
- NOTE: Once enzymes are applied to pet urine, the process of total elimination of the pungent off-gassing of bacteria can take up to 7-10 days for the total elimination of odor.
