Stone Grinding – Is used to remove deep scratches and lippage (uneven tile edges) from natural stone surfaces. This is completed by a weighted floor machine with diamond abrasive metal pads and water that creates no dust. Your natural stone is restored to its original finish after the grinding process.
Stone Honing – When your stone is scratched or lightly damaged from the wear of everyday foot traffic, honing the surface will bring it back to a beautiful-even appearance. A weighted floor machine completes this task with abrasive diamond pads, powders, and water that creates no dust. Common household chemicals like acidic juices or hair spray often etch the stone, leaving a dull mark. Honing removes all the blemishes.
Marble Polishing – To give marble or stone the sheen you want, enhance the veining in marble, and protect the marble or stone from everyday traffic and spills. Polishing stone is performed by abrading the stone surface with finer and finer media until a high shine is achieved.
Marble Cleaning – To remove dirt, stains, bacteria, waxes, and polymers that have become embedded, we use our truck-mounted system with the appropriate stone cleaning pre-sprays. Our truck-mounted system provides the most thorough stone cleaning possible without the risk of damaging your stone. The stone surface is cleaned, and as a bonus, you end up with clean grout lines too.
Stone Sealing – To protect and preserve natural stone, we apply a high-performance sealer designed to help prevent your stone from absorbing everyday household dirt and spills. Sealing natural stone reduces the maintenance required to keep your stone looking beautiful for years to come. Tru-Clean Surface Care uses premium impregnating sealers with warranties up to 25 years.
Color Enhancing – The use of penetrating enhancing impregnators (deepens colors in stones such as slate) formulated to enhance or enrich the color of your stone can bring out the rich color and character of your stone surfaces.
Stripping – Stripping natural stone remove coatings that block the stone’s ability to breathe, which causes spalling (when the stones crack, pop and shale). Some examples of standard coatings are crystallization, janitorial waxes, polyurethane, store-bought waxes, enhancers,” etc.
Grout Color Seal – This process is recommended when a client’s grout lines are permanently stained or wants to enhance the existing color or change it. Our grout color sealer will change the color of the grout lines with pigments while applying a sealing agent and anti-microbial.
