A good night’s sleep is essential for our health and helps us recharge our batteries for the next day. Quality sleep helps us function better at our jobs, mental wellbeing, or while taking care of the kids. There are lots of factors for a healthy night’s sleep, and arguably, a clean mattress is one of them.
Most people are not aware of the fact that, regardless of how often we shower, our body leaves behind not only DNA, but contaminants such as dirt, body oils, and dead skin cells. These contaminants cause a considerable accumulation of bacteria, fungi and help feed dust mites in the mattress. These accumulations can lead to unnecessary diseases, skin allergies, breathing problems, and a poor night’s sleep.
Did you know that allergists and mattress manufacturers recommend you have your mattress professionally cleaned and sanitized every 12-18 months?
Tru-Clean Surface Care is proud to be the “cleaner of choice” to many nursing homes, allergists, medical professionals, mattress retailers, and homeowners desirous of a quality mattress cleaning, sanitizing, AND a good night’s sleep.

Imagine going to sleep on your mattress while battling a cold or flu virus.
As your body sweats and sheds skin cells, these allergins, along with viruses, are transferred to your mattress, mattress cover, pillows, and sheets. There’s not a mattress pad or cover made that will protect a mattress, pillows, or bedding from dust mites and viruses. A thoroughly exhaustive mattress cleaning and sanitizing is imperative to keep your bedding fresh and clean.
Tru-Clean Surface Care is a Certified Partner with the international Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and the prestigious Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI). We are A+ Rated with the Better Business Bureau and a seven-year-in-a-row-winner of the coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award.
Our Mattress Cleaning Process
Our extensive mattress cleaning process begins with a thorough inspection of the mattress. The technician will evaluate the condition of the mattress, along with the issues, and then proceed with the following steps:
- All spots are pre-treated
- A sanitizing agent is applied to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and dust mites
- An allergen-free emulsifying agent is applied as a cleaning agent
- The mattress is steam cleaned at more than 245 degrees
- A pH conditioned rinse follows the cleaning to remove any remaining cleaning agents
- A secondary sanitizing agent is applied
Your mattress will be fresh and clean and will dry within two hours.
