Experience – Attention To Detail
Upholstery and leather cleaning requires experience and care implemented by a skilled and knowledgeable technician. Our 12-step cleaning process ensures you receive a thoroughly exhaustive, allergen-free cleaning. Our non-toxic cleaning solution is safe for kids and pets and environmentally friendly.
The Process
Tru-Clean Surface Care technicians can clean each type of fabric, leather, and weave from synthetics, such as rayon, to naturals, such as linen, wool, and cotton.
First, the furniture is power vacuumed to ensure all loose particulate (crumbs, pollen, dust mites, etc.) are removed. We then spot treat as necessary and apply preconditioner on the upholstery surface, cushions, and/or pillows. After sufficient dwell time, we use our steam cleaning process (or hand dry cleaning as appropriate) that disperses hot steam into the fabric to activate the emulsification process. The technician agitates the fabric’s surface using a specialized upholstery cleaning tool, extracts the soils and body oils, and then deodorizers. This substance is sprayed through a wand that also acts as a vacuum to suck out all the contaminants in the form of moisture.
Dry Cleaning Alternative
We also offer an alternative, dry method to cleaning upholstery that is applicable for certain fabrics that are not “wet wash” approved. For leather furniture, we use the nation’s leading leather cleaner and conditioner, and the leather is cleaned by hand. We apply a conditioning agent to keep the leather feeling soft and supple.
In addition to our national consumer awards from Angie’s List and the Better Business Bureau, Tru-Clean Surface Care is a Certified Partner with the prestigious Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), a Wool Safe Approved Service Provider, and the International Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI).
